Rats Wins Best Production Design
Rats finished the year strong winning the award for Best Production Design at the International Digital Video Festival in Beverly Hills. This marked the second year in a row we took home a prize at this fest. (Man of Steal won Best Comedy in 2004)
Both Al and I made it to the awards ceremony hot off the plane from Anchorage. The ceremony took place at the Continental in Beverly Hills and dispite the BHPD’s attempts to shut it down, the show went on. We’d like to thank Shannon Rawls for founding and operating this great festival.
Anchorage Alaska International Film Festival
Rats screened at the Totem 8 Theatre on Sunday (4th) and again at the Anchorage Mueseum on Thursday (8th). From the moment we got off the plane Tony Sheppard and his staff gave us a warm welcome and made this festival a fantastic experience. We got to see some great films, tryout some Moose Tooth Ale, ate some King Crab legs, saw a glacier, did donuts in the hotel parking lot, and met some very cool people. I’ll be back!
